OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1973 as Workrite Uniform Company, the brand has delivered high-quality flame-resistant (FR) workwear for over four decades. Initially catering to various workwear industries, Workrite shifted its focus to station wear in the mid-'80s, expanding its name into the Fire Service Industry and introducing its heritage collection. This move set new standards for safety and FR station wear uniforms, making Workrite a leader in the fire service industry. Over the next 20 years, Workrite adapted its heritage line to meet changing market demands in style and fit.
In October 2015, the brand launched its popular Tactical Pant, followed by the introduction of the first fire service FR female station wear uniform in October 2016. Continuing its legacy of innovation, Workrite unveiled the Station No. 73 Collection in March 2017, offering a modern look and comfortable fit in tribute to its founding year. After its acquisition in June 2017, Workrite continued to innovate, launching the Wildlands collection in November 2018, which used CAL Fire specifications. Today, the brand remains committed to serving the needs of the Fire Service industry and leading in FR station wear for years to come.
